Here’s what we’ve been up to:
We covered all the Juneteenth events this year: Friday 6/19 Freedom Parade along Bay St starting in Rosebank and the Festival with historic reenactments, vendors, music in Tappan Park; Also the Juneteenth Family Day at SI Museum featuring films and the Altered Book Project; then we climbed the overpass on I-278 and got a wonderful hour of honking and enthusiastic waves. A very good day. But It didn’t stop there, another half of the group attended the SI Alliance Juneteenth Celebration at Snug Harbor with food, music, vendors, and so much more…

We are part of a growing population on Staten Island that are shocked at the CHAOS, CORRUPTION AND CRUELTY of the current administration and want to do something to show the power we can have when we work together. The coalition began quite organically as a group of informed citizens aching to turn their concerns into effective actions and improve solidarity on Staten Island. We are peaceful protesters and do not approve of any acts of hate or violence.
This page is dedicated to Political ACTIONS, something we’ve needed to do since Donald Trump took office and the insanity began. We are dedicated to fact-checking our elected officials and setting the record straight about what is really happening and the impact on us. We also want to promote actions and activities happening in our community, nearby in other boroughs, and even nationally.
Everyone needs to take political action if we are going to survive and make an impact . So everything from phone call campaigns and postcarding, to rallies, marches, and town halls will be posted on our site and our social media accounts. Let’s Collaborate! Or send us your action notices and we will blast it out to our growing email list.

We educate, motivate, and activate hardworking people who care deeply about protecting the Constitution and standing against tyranny. Our mission reaches beyond Staten Island — our efforts strengthen our community, our city, our country, and contribute to the broader fight for freedom and democratic government around the world. Until now, much of our work has been personally funded and limited by resources.
